With college and work and boys and stress and all that fun stuff, I don't get on here much.  And if I do, I post some silly doodle.  Not quite dA-worthy   So I'm just posting doodles and whatnot off on a tumblr on my own.  Not sure if any of you have one, but it's quite an interesting thing.

I post drawings and leave, and I STILL don't know how the whole site works.  I am Tumblr-impaired.

I haven't been on here in a while and it feels weird to not post photos.  I'm finally getting into these little DeviantArt groups that are posted and labeled everywhere, so hopefully my work can be passed on further than it has been before.

College is not a nice place.  You meet your good chaps, and you meet your scum.  So far I've encountered scum.

In mid-October, I was faced with a manipulative boy, and two bitchy roommates.  It got to where I had to get a restraining order, as well as kick the other two girls out.

I have never lived alone in my life and for a couple of months of having an apartment complex to myself, it was a scary thing.

I then got a roommate who I find out is 1. a druggie, 2. drinks, 3. a shoplifter, 4.  a sex-addict, 5. a manipulater of her own and 6. is now living with me.  All this was sprawled out on the table within 4 days.  It has now been 3 months and things are rocky.  I had explained the restraining order situation to her as a warning of this boy, but now she's gone off, done whatever with him, and has joined the "Katie is a crazy, psycho bitch" band wagon the boy and his group have discussed.  I really don't know how I feel about this, because I know I'm above it, but it still feels like a betrayal.  It leaves me with less people to trust in this lonely town.


College is a bitch.  I don't know if I've just gotten the bad side of it or if it's just a community college experience or if I'm just being overly dramatic..  It just seems like a bare step up from high school.  I didn't move 160 miles to get a terrible experience for college.    I'm just trying to see past it and live my life.  As soon as I get my AA, I'm out of this college and onto somewhere bigger.

Just turned 19 too.  That feels like a really old number.  I'm hoping to draw or do more photography in the future.  I could go rant on about every little college detail, but I don't want to be one of those people that stretch their deviant pages to no end.  So I'll leave it here.

Oh.  And look up Of Monsters and Men.  Icelandic band I just saw in concert.  Beautiful voices.

Sorry I haven't written one of these in FOREVER.  I actually haven't been on for a while and just cleaned out about 870 notifications worth of DA material!

All those art stacks and journals/polls REALLY build up!

I'm going to be busy with art and design at my school - I've actually moved up to a town called Centralia...aka the middle of nowhere that resides next to a freeway...Although I am happy that it has never ending antique shops and a Nike and Bath&Body Works outlet shop <3

I'll be majoring in Graphic Design and I'm hoping to get my AA at this community college...plus I'm going here on an athletic scholarship!  I'm playing golf for two years!  Even though golf isn't really my thing, I'll do it since it pretty much covers 79% of my tuition   Hahaha life has been great.  I just need to learn how to deal with roomates...Uy.

I'm lazy with uploading, but I do have some photos I may submit...Plus I'm busy with a photoshop project for a friend of mine.  For the past few months, I haven't done much   I'm sure you can understand.
